Wild Carrot (Daucus carota)

Wild carrot (Daucus carota).

A beautiful flower, with a distinctive seed head, like a nest. Wild carrots are white rather than orange but still a source of carotene and vitamin C.

Medicinally wild carrot is used for kidney stones and dropsy.

Have you seen wild carrot growing in your area? What is your go to book or app for plant identification?
